Make a difference in other people’s lives as well as experiencing the joy of your own personal growth by becoming an AVP Workshop Facilitator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate three day workshops in correctional and community facilities
  • Lead group exercises, discussions and activities
  • Work collaboratively with a facilitating team

Training and Support:

To become a facilitator, a person must participate in the Basic, Advanced, and Training for Facilitators workshops and then serve as an apprentice co-facilitator. There is a well-defined curriculum, manuals and support for the workshops developed by AVP-USA.

Commitment:

Workshop days and times vary, but many workshops are on weekends. Workshops are 18 – 22 hours, over two to three consecutive days. Some additional time is needed for workshop planning.
